Jackson`s Kountry Korner in Buhl

Steadily going downhill. The only high point this time was the service. Husband had the fried chicken special. Chicken (two tiny little wings and an anorexic drumstick) looked like it had been under the warmer for hours and the mashed potatoes were dried out and scorched. This was at 6:00 pm, not at the end of the night. I ordered a bowl of chili, which was a bowl of beans and about a tablespoon of burger. Even the rolls were third rate, and they used to have the best rolls. We used to eat there quite often, but I doubt we'll go back.

Always love to go to Jackson's, whether to just have coffee & pie or to have one of their delicious meals. The atmosphere & quality of service is always excellent.

Would Never eat there again!! I don't like spoiled food or overdone canned veges and instant potatoes and when you tell them that your steak was grossly spoiled tasting and still are charged the full price for 2 steak meals that are not edible at all then that's a done deal for me. Never been back!! The place is busy a lot with the coffee buddies crowds!!

This place has excellent food. You get so much food At low prices. We went there last night for dinner and our server Angelique was awesome fast super funny and all around excellent. Will defiantly return. If not For the food For the great service. My kids loved her and my wife and her talked like they were long time friends. A+++++

Great home cooking good prices and service

Really helpful to have a convenient store only 10 minutes from your home. Employees are super friendly and most of the time have anything I need for quick snack or drink.

Service was great, food was ok.

This place is a nice country sit down. Regrettably there was a new cook and alot of our food was over cooked. When Becky (reg. Cook) is working the food is perfect

They have taken the #1 item they should have kept, off their menu. They have removed their locally grown trout fillets. Buhl is known as the trout capital off the world. Why would the one restaurant in Buhl that served locally grown trout take it off their menu? BIG MISTAKE!

Don't try to buy a deer or elk tag there.. pretty good chance you won't get it. they can't cancel it and you will be out the money. it won't print it out for you.

Good hearty meals. Only have had one bad experience with one waitress.

I would give this place no stars but since I had a very kind waitress, I give them 1 star. Been coming here for almost 7 years and I always loved their food. But they changed it for the worst. My chicken strips were burnt around the edges, there was so much pepper on my moms popcorn shrimp that she couldn't even eat it, and they got my order wrong. Instead of a salad and fries for my sides, they gave me a larger salad and corn that tasted like perfume. The roll was so bland and tasted like yeast. And the salad was super watery. Never going back!!!

Great chicken fried steak meal!

This is my family restaurant. The staff is excellent and the home-style cooking is just what you grew up with. Recommend highly and you get to meet the best people in town!!

Me and my husband love eating at Jackson we normally get a chicken salad and our daughter gets a corn dog. Well tonight we ordered the salad was watery and no chicken my daughter corn dog wasn’t cooked all the way and the customer service was horrible the girl in the front with then lip ring was very rude

Pretty good food for ok-ish prices, its usualy a little dirty but good food and little gas station attached, can also get your hunting and fishing licenses there

So I don’t normally do this, but I ordered two meals to go. When I called the woman acted angry that she had to take my order. I asked for extra ranch and I barely got enough to put on half of a salad let alone the two we ordered. You can tell their oil is really old and our finger steaks were burned. Our rolls cold and really dry, and the fries were disgusting. Literally the blandest meal I’ve had. Our meal was 42 dollars. For two finger steak dinners and some cheese sticks. It was maybe worth about 5 dollars all the way around. Won’t be back.

Ok place but a little high on the prices. Pancakes were like the ones you make at home with regular batter, nothing special. Had the veggie omelet and it was good. Good service too.

Good food and very nice service

They have a open face roast beef with gravy but I prefer turkey with country gravy. They used to service to me. But they will no longer do it. I think it's wrong as not a lot of people dont like beef the sliced turkey is a great alternative for beef. So I'm protesting them after today . Takes for ever to get your food as well I don't blame the help I blame the current owners as they don't believe the customers come first.

Had fun memories of good food and lots of it here. Was not the experience we had today. We placed our order and the for other people I was with got their food. They explain to me that my food did not get processed but would I be out immediately. After waiting a half-hour my daughter went up and asked what was going on. They proceeded to tell her that it should be out any time. My daughter told her to take it off the bill to box it up and bring it to the table when it was done. They did not do that they just took it off the bill. Did not compensate in any way shape or form horrible service! We will never eat here again!
